Featured Case

Sadie is a 4 year old golden retriever who was diagnosed by her veterinarian with bilateral congenital Hip Dysplasia at age 3, when her owner observed exercise intolerance, limping and refusal to go up stairs. Sadie would need surgery if rehabilitation didn't work for her.

Indeed, Sadie's initial evaluation at CARE showed 3/4 lameness in the left hind leg at a walk, and an inability to trot, to name just a few of the issues.

CARE approached Sadie's therapy using tools and techniques, such as passive range of motion exercises done manually, underwater treadmill, joint compressions and mobilizations as well as stretching.

CARE also helped relieve Sadie's pain using a variety of techniques, including electro-acupuncture, therapeutic laser, supplements (no pharmaceuticals) and ice.

Would you like to know all of the techniques CARE used to help Sadie, and how she progressed during her 8-weeks of therapy? Download the
